I wanted a waterproof pot and tried using Mod Podge on terracotta pots as an experiment to prevent mineral buildup and white mold.

I also tried the DuraClear Polyurethane varnish, but don't remember exactly what terracotta pot I used it on.

I would suggest painting terracotta pots with acrylic paint first if you want a waterproof pot.
