Economic stimulus packages in Germany mean there's a total of 40 billion euros up for grabs - and it's up to the KfW,the bank that transferred 300 million euros to Lehman Brothers shortly before its bankruptcy,to distribute it.Preferred candidates are businesses that have suffered as a result of the global credit crunch. But so far,only 1,500 firms have requested help to the tune of around six billion euros.
