Capcay is a food that is healthy to eat every day, because it contains a lot of vegetables and vitamins in it. Fried Capcay is one variant of capcay that have very little gravy.
Ingredients :
- 100 grams of cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, thinly sliced diagonally
- 1 leek, thinly sliced
- 100 grams of chinese green cabbage (choy sum), cut into 4 cm
- 2 pieces baby corn, cut into small
- 100 grams of cauliflower, cut into small
- 7 grain meatballs of shrimp/fish, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- ½ cloves of onion (yellow onion), sliced
- 1 egg, whisk
- 4 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of whitepepper powder
- 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, dissolved in water
- 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
- ½ cup of hot water
How to cook :
- Pour cooking oil, heat over medium heat.
- Saute garlic until fragrant, put the meatballs and stir until meatballs are cooked through.
- Add the eggs, scrambled eggs and mix until blended.
- Add salt and whitepepper powder and stir well.
- Add carrots, cauliflowers, baby corns, and onions and stir well. Add hot water, stir and cook until all vegetables become wilted.
- Add oyster sauce, stir well.
- Add the cabbage and stir until cabbage become wilted.
- Add chinese green cabbages and leeks, stir until chinese green cabbage become wilted.
- Add cornstarch solution and stir well.
- Serve Fried Capcay hot.
