Once again- resident of communities surrounding Gaza come under attack.
After a period of months in which Palestinian terrorists sent incendiary kites and balloons carrying torches and explosives into the Israeli communities they have now stepped up their aggression and have renewed the rocket and mortar shell fire.

Over the last several days, Hamas and other terrorist organizations have launched hundreds of rockets at Israel's southern communities.
They also have extended their firing range and have sent rockets to Beersheba and Ashkelon, resulting in casualties and heavy property damage.

Thanks to the generosity of Keren Hayesod donors the Barzilai hospital in Ashkelon has been fortified and a new emergency room has just been completed. On Monday night it took in 80 injured.

The JAFI Fund for Victims of Terror - gives immediate financial support to those hit by terror attacks. Several homes were hit on Monday night in Ashkelon - with one person killed and two severely wounded.

The Barzilai Hospital is locates just 10 KM from the border with Gaza and is the main provider of medical assistance to the residents of this city and region.
