The elite Special Protection Group or SPG security cover has been withdrawn from the Gandhi family. Congress president Sonia Gandhi, and her children Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will now get 'Z+' security by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and this comes just a few months after SPG security was withdrawn from former PM Manmohan Singh in August.
