This is a side-by-side of my custom impulse response created for my Beard Guitars Josh Swift custom model comparing the direct pickup signal to the impulse response loaded onto a Mooer Audio Radar pedal.
Both signals are running through the effects loop on a Grace Design BiX preamp, where the signal is split with one side going into the radar and then back into the return on the BiX and the other side going straight into my interface.
This project has been at times very frustrating but I’m thrilled with the progress I’m seeing so far. There are still some improvements to be made but even as it is right now the difference is quite significant.
