Hello everyone. This is my review of the special Nikon 58mm f/1.4G nikkor AF-S prime lens. I added this lens to my camera bag a few years ago and today I will be reviewing it.

The top questions I get asked about this lens.
Is it worth $1500?
Is it Sharp?
I have a Nikon 50mm already. Should I get one anyway?
How different is it compared to a nifty fifty?
How"s the bokeh?
How is the 58 when doing video?
Is it good for portrait photography? Wedding Photography? Low light lens?
Who is this lens for?
Is this lens a must have?
Focus speed on the Nikon 58 prime?
Does this lens ROCK?

All these questions I will answer in video. I will also put it up against a $200 lens I purchased from a used lens shop. The Nikon 50mm f1.4D prime lens. $1500 vs $200

The Prime Nikon 58mm 1.4 G was released in 2013 and in this video I will put it through its paces and give you my thoughts along with sample images and sample video clips filmed on different aperture values.

An honest real review and and watch till the end as I answer all the questions above and give you my conclusions.
