The Gibbon river is located on the western side of the park. The name is changing to Madison river by the Madison Junction. The Gibbon falls is dropping 84 feet and creates a natural barrier for fish migration. Rainbow trout has been introduced to the river above the falls. If you go to the meadows you will find plenty of great fishing spots.
