This is a play through of the Arcade mode of Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper with A-Balrog. He is different from his vanilla Street Fighter Alpha 3 appearance in that he has significantly more normal attacks. His appearance in vanilla essentially gave him only one jumping attack animation, and his punches and kicks also shared the same animations. Now, in Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, he is more fleshed out, and his jumping attacks and all his punches and kicks have different animations.
These normals actually improve him overall as a character. The most notable normals that are useful are his s.LK, a little elbow which has a much larger and more vertical hitbox, great for hitting airborne opponents and then cancelling into his LK dashing upper for a two hit anti-air; s.HK which is a great footsies poke, as it hits all crouching opponents and can land a counter-hit knockdown.
His c.FP has a special property in that it can be cancelled into a SUPER, but not a special move. This is useful, as he can fish for a a counter hit c.LP which increases hit stun so he can link a c.FP which can then be verified into a super cancel (this is the only way he can combo his Gigaton Punch change b,f,b,f,K - level 3).
Unfortunately, Balrog doesn't have any decent variable combos, which makes him significantly stronger in A-ism.
