The Drakan games are early Action RPGs set in a dark fantasy world that don't get enough credit for the things they did well. Nice animations, great music, and atmosphere, and a nicely varied world filled with horrifying enemies, cool weapons, and dungeons to explore. This is the sequel, a PS2 release from 2002, I'd like to cover the first game as well when I can, but it's a bit tricky to get running. Well worth the look if you enjoy retro RPGs, even if the difficulty can be a bit frustrating at times, the whole thing is a memorable adventure through a messed up world.
