I wanted to tell everyone about these fasteners that I heard about from Chris from @AGlimpseInside

These are hanger bolts. One end is a lag screw that you can drive into your table leg. The other end is a 3/16 inch diameter bolt with 16 threads per inch. They come in various sizes and lengths. In my case I bought the wrong length so I will need to remove a little material on the outside face of the corner brace so I can get the nut on the hanger bolt.

This really isn’t too bad of a situation as I made the corner braces thick so I would have plenty of glue surface where they meet the apron and the ends of the bolts will be recessed in the angle brace. Maybe it’s one of those Happy Accidents.
