In this hands-on tutorial, I will explain in simple terms how it all works. We will take a look at common DNS record types, including A Record, CNAME Record, and the Alias that allows you to redirect traffic to AWS resources (we will point to an EC2 application with Elastic IP addresses ).
Route 53 is Amazon's managed Domain Name System (DNS). You can use it to register/transfer domain names and manage how traffic is routed to private and public resources.
