This video is of Dubh Easa na Inishmore (Dana), Ryan Ribald (Devin) and Katla Hase (Karina) doing Viking Whipcord. It was Katla's first time. This video was taken on April 26, 2011.

Basically, Viking whipcord is braid making using the method shown above. You can use the braid for trims, as the straps for tube dresses and in other crafts, etc.
