Talk recorded live at CERN on 17 November 2022 during the second edition of the Sparks! Serendipity Forum at CERN. #CERNSparks
How can scientists better share all the data gathered by the multiple sensors we wear, as well as the output of clinical trials, research and other current data-gathering systems?
Working towards answering this question is the European Bioinformatics Institute, is international, innovative, and interdisciplinary, and championing open data in life sciences.
Rolf Apweiler is one of the co-directors of the institute and we asked him to talk about the opportunities and challenges of large-scale bioinformatics.
