A second chance of life will not be wasted by Ebenezer Scrooge as he aims to live by the Spirits' lessons. Upon his discovery that it is indeed Christmas Day, he pays a passer-by to buy a huge turkey to deliver to the Cratchits' house. Scrooge's extraordinary dose of Christmas cheer doesn't end there as he sets about making amends with the charity workers he had previously turned away. After promising a large donation to the charity, Scrooge heads on to Fred's Christmas Day party. His joyous mood is extended as Fred's initial shock at seeing him is turned into a warm welcome and a tremendous celebration.
Following the joy of Christmas Day, we observe that Scrooge's change in nature was not a one-day-only event. On Bob Cratchit's arrival to work the following morning, he's amazed to be offered a generous pay rise and a pledge of support for his son, Tiny Tim. From there, Scrooge continues his days as a kind-spirited man, keenly remembering the lessons he learned. "And so, as Tiny Tim observed, God Bless Us, Every One!"
