In case you don't understand the beginning - for it's a little quiet :-D "Five years ago I tried to hike the Pennine Way but only made it to Hawes. In July, I thought I'd give it a second try. So in this video and in the one that is going to follow in the future you'll be able to see if I managed to get to Kirk Yetholm this time"

The Pennine Way was the first trail that I tried to hike alone. But in 2015 I was not yet comfortable with solo hiking and my equipment was much heavier. Apart from that, the cattle on trail and the changing weather scared me away! But somehow I regretted that I had quit the trail and I was waiting for the right time to try the Pennine Way again! So here is the first part of my journey!

You'll see me wearing the Hoka One One Sky Toa boots a lot. But I don't want to advertise them. The material broke a little within 4 walking days and from then onwards they did not seem to be waterproof to me any longer.
