In May, a jury found former President Donald Trump guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records, making him the first American president to be convicted of a crime.
On Tuesday, prosecutors in Trump's New York hush money case stated they are open to delaying his July 11 sentencing hearing for up to two weeks after a Supreme Court ruling granted Trump some immunity from prosecution.
In the 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court returned lower court rulings and stated that a former president has absolute immunity for his core constitutional powers.
