This morning in Westminster Hall I've secured a short debate on the issue of Educational Attainment for Working Class White Boys. Statistically it's these lads that are most likely to fall behind at school and even education leaders have said that this issue is brushed under the carpet in our "woke" society that can marginalise the issues of white males. This under performance has become normal.
Now of course challenges for children from disadvantaged backgrounds are important to deal with, regardless of their race or gender, but I wanted to raise the debate in these terms today to ensure that we can have this discussion openly in future and include boys from communities like ours who are increasingly left behind.
