More prison programmes are needed to help inmates keep in touch with their families.

In a recent interview with TTT News, she said family support is important and should not stop or be withheld when men and women are incarcerated.

She says the relevant authorities should consider amending existing legislation to allow conjugal visits. The Attorney believes this will help promote safer prisons.
