The Upsurge Festival is a renowned event that brings together underground metal and hardcore bands, featuring both rising talents and established names in the scene.

The "Sheer Terror Warm Up Show," where a total of 8 bands unleashed their unruly energy and passion, provided a great warm-up before the two regular festival days. I came to listen and see Sheer Terror, although I had the opportunity to see and even record the other bands from Saturday's lineup on video. Despite being a four-piece lineup without a second guitarist, Sheer Terror delivered a powerful performance that showcased their experience and stage presence.

Overcoming obstacles related to entering the United Kingdom, the band arrived on time and ignited the mosh pit with massive anthems and choir-like choruses. In between songs, they engaged with the audience, sharing stories from their hardcore past.

Sheer Terror has been proving their skills and dedication on stage for years. Despite the passage of time, they continue to evoke immense emotions among their fans, creating unforgettable memories. Expect a setlist featuring a mix of their classic cult hits and newer compositions, inviting the audience to sing along and share experiences.

New Cross Inn, known for its intimate atmosphere and close interaction between bands and fans, provided Sheer Terror with the perfect venue to connect with the audience and convey their incredible energy and passion.
