From CHBC news, Wednesday, March 24, 2010. The Kelowna Station is an historical building. It must be kept to its original design. Doors and windows are being replaced with energy-efficient replicas. The grey roof that is being replaced was installed in the 80s and is not the original colour. The new red roof looks better than what it is replacing. [Even if Mike doesn't like it.] Tracks were removed from the station in 1997. The station has sat vacant for years.
