Today i came with a recipe of famous bihar style champaran chicken/chicken handi/claypot chicken /ahuna chicken

Many names in different states with a similar procedure

Stuffing meat in clay pots and cooking in dum process by sealing the edges with dough where it hold the steam inside and helps to cook the meat

Authentic process of making this is with tandoor but i need to do at home with stove top so tried out this easy procedure

Believe me it tastes great. You can prepare this with just 3 steps Mix, seal, cook thatsal

Here goes the ingredients

1. Chicken - 750 gms
2. Peppercorns - 5
3. Elachi - 4
4. Cloves - 3
5. Staranise- 1
6. Green chilli- 2
7. Red chilli- 2
8. Chilli powder - 2 tbsp
9. Coriander powder - 1.5 tbsp
10. Cumin powder - 2 tsp
11. Salt - as per taste
12. Onion sliced - 1/2 kg
13. Mustard oil - 1/4 cup + 1/2 cup
14. Whole garlic - 4
