It’s been a month since I got the La Marzocco Linea Mini, and I had been practicing plenty of steaming oat milk and pouring hearts for my fiancée’s flat whites. Here's my current flat white workflow - I know it’s not as perfect as many of you more experienced are able to produce, but please be kind and enjoy while I practice some more. If you have any tips for steaming oat milk, please let me know in the comments.
I find that with my current temperature setting this particular coffee tastes really nice with the following recipe:
Dose: 18 grams
Brew time: 30 seconds
Brew weight: ~20 grams (Double ristretto for the flat white)
Temperature : 91°C
Brew pressure : 9 bar
