The 22nd President of the University of the Philippines Honorable Angelo JImenez returns to home to the island of Mindanao to renew his panaad and honor the kabilin of his homeland that shape him to be an outstanding and compassionate leader today.

Panaad at kabilin is going back home - to acknowledge the honor and significance of our rootedness, to highlight the foundation of our identity, to celebrate our organic transformation as we take courage to move forward in fulfillment of the promise to continue serving the University as our home. It is a panaad fulfilling an ultimate promise that serving the University is serving the nation.

Ito ang panaad na paglingkuran ang Unibersidad at Sambayanan bilang kahustuhan ng kabilin ng lupang pinagmulan.
