Maurice Duruflé (1902-1906) was a great french composer, organist, and teacher. He did not compose a great deal of music, but what he wrote was of the highest quality, inspiration and beauty, qualifying Duruflé as one of France's greatest composers. He was the titualar organist in the fantastic cathedral Saint-Étienne-du-Mont in Paris until his death.
