Los Angeles punk rock band and headliner Bad Religion opened their set performing The Defense at The BayCare Sound Amphitheatre in Clearwater, Florida on April 28, 2024. The Defense was written by Greg Gaffin and Brett Gurewitz and was the eleventh track on The Process of Belief, the twelve studio album by Bad Religion released in January 2002.
