Quick departure from our usual subject matter in this video, but hey, it's our namesake after all..... B&B Farms is shorthand for bluegills and botanicals!
It was an otherwise normal afternoon of bluegill fishing, using a small popper tipped with a waxworm as bait. Hooked into the nice redear x bluegill cross, a very nice one at that. As the fish struggled and ran circles in 18" of water, this big guy rushed out of the adjacent deeper water and just engulfed my catch! The fight was on with 6lb mono! 15 minutes later and both fish were on the bank, quite the thrill!! 37" long, 20lbs weight.
