The Gibson Falcon GA-19RVT amplifier is a valve amp made in the 60's by Gibson. It has 6AU7 preamp valves and 6V6 power amp valves. The spring reverb can be used on it's own making this a great addition to any amp collection as it allows you to add spring reverb to any other amp. The demo uses my 1991 Fender Stratocaster custom shop '62. No other effects. Recorded using a Sennheiser E906.
At some point I will do a dirty version with my Gibson Les Paul. This is a clean demo.
I got this amp in a larger deal of gear and was blown away when I tried it. It is untouched from new as I got it from the son of the first owner. It has all matching RCA tubes that look original and still work. The front panel has a fair bit of corrosion but it doesn't seem to have suffered internally. The original foot switch for reverb and tremolo is present. The speaker is a Jensen 12".
The only thing I would love to find would be an original knob to replace the cracked one.
I'm not Pete Thorn, but hopefully you will enjoy hearing this relatively rare amp.
