If you like clean PVC, use clear primer. But if all you have is purple and it drips, get some Oatey Clear Cleaner. It takes a little elbow grease but works great. You can also use it with a rag on vinyl siding to remove paint and stain. Just be careful how much you use because it may lighten the color.
