Different styles of waterfowl hunting require different types of retriever training. In the past couple years two styles of hunting have gained popularity; upright blinds and laying in the decoys. Both can prevent unique challenges for your retriever. Steadiness, handling, and marking all come into play on any type of hunt, but especially in these two.
