Have you ever put in a web address or URL like www.google.com and it automatically created a link to click on in Excel? Apparently this is the default behavior and sometimes it's just annoying. I usually don't want to have Excel explicitly link out of the document unless I planned it. Plus every time I'd have to try not activate the link by going into Edit mode or hold the mouse button a longer time to select the cell. How about just turning off this feature!! Well actually you can do that and this short video will show you how.
