Normally you dont have to mix paint, of course, but with the natural paints you do. They've changed the formula, it's a lot easier to use but in days gone by you'd have to do this to get the air running through the paint. If you didn't do that it'd be like treacle. When you're trying to put it on you'd have all sorts of trouble getting it to look like normal paint. Nowadays less important to do this but we still do it. When you do it the idea is to get the air flowing through the paint. It's the air that creates fluidity, 'lack of bubbleness', which helps it to go on nice and evenly.
So, about 5 minutes you're supposed to do, well according to the book of words about 10 minutes but we find 5 is all you need now.
Oh, suppose I should show you what it looks like, it's one of those things.
There, we mixed our paint with the drill, and it puts air through the paint, and then when you pour it into the tray that's how she looks, and that's how you want it.
