For a good 8 months now I've noticed a gradual loss of power no DTC's with my 2013 Renault Megane MK3 1.5 Dci Engine K9K, because the vehicle is a work horse and still ok to drive i didn't worry too much and put it down as probably age related stuff, at this current moment it has 253K miles and until now specially in the last few months I've definitely felt like it was getting much worse like the turbo wasn't contributing that much anymore and clutch was slipping.

Now when i was getting the clutch replaced i came across something that could be behind the problem, i decide to remove the air box and intake pipe and for my luck i've noticed the it was quite badly damaged, straight away i gave my local Renault dealer a call and found out it cost around £140 new, checked my Ebay used market store 😎 and came across a used hose that came out from a Mercedes A-Class in really good condition for £17 and i went for it...

Regarding the test i did with the RPM and Air Intake measurements i wish i also had there the ENGINE TORQUE and EGR figures but anyhow you can probably a good idea of what it was going on, which I believe a very lean fuel to air ratio making the car super sluggish ....
