International borders are open, and travel to and from Australia is increasingly realistic and popular. The first part of this session is an update and refresher for vaccination providers about vaccine preventable travel illnesses and COVID protocols for overseas travel.
The second part of the session covers the emergence of Japanese Encephalitis in South Eastern Australia. Until recently, Japanese Encephalitis was a disease of the tropics, but cases are now seen in South Eastern Australia. Primary Care Practitioners should have the disease on their clinical radar.
