Donald Trump's former attorney general Bill Barr is still out in the media attacking his former boss as the feud between the two continues to escalate. On Sunday morning during an interview on CBS, Barr said that Trump is acting like a "9-year old kid" and that all of the things he's said about his indictment are complete garbage. But even as the two fight, Barr has made it clear that he's 100% voting for Trump in 2024, so none of this even matters, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

The ongoing feud between Donald Trump and his former Attorney General Bill Barr has continued from last week into this week. And on Sunday on an interview with CBS's Face, the Nation, former Attorney General Bill Barr, said that Donald Trump is essentially behaving like a nine year old kid. So Bill Barr finally took that shot at Donald Trump and said, you are acting like a child. Here's what Bill Barr said, he's like a defiant nine year old kid who's always pushing the glass toward the edge of the table, defying his parents to stop him doing it. And he's a very petty individual who will always put his interests ahead of the countries, his personal gratification of his ego. But our country can't be a therapy session for a troubled man like this. Now he goes on. There's more I'm gonna read in just a second, but right, those are good attacks.
Like those are attacks. Like I wish I had come up with like the, Hey, you can't turn the country into your therapy session as you work through whatever's, you know, kicking around up here. That's a good line. And I'm sad I didn't come up with it. You know what's even sadder than me not coming up with that brilliant line is the fact that Bill Barr makes it clear in every interview he does that, oh, he's still gonna vote for Trump. So he's out there telling us this man is behaving like a child. He is defying people to try and stop him. He doesn't know what the hell he's doing. He's dangerous, he's not mentally competent. But hey, when Bill Barr heads to that ballot box, he's still gonna either complete that line to Donald Trump's name, he's gonna pull the lever for Trump, push the button on the screen, whatever it is where he votes, he's still gonna vote for Trump because you know, as he says, he aligns more closely with Donald Trump's policies.
So none of it matters, right? None of this matters. You can go out there and attack Donald Trump all day every day, rightfully, call him out for all the stupid crap he says. But if you're still like, but I'm still gonna vote for him, then nothing you say matters. Nothing you say has any impact. And Donald Trump's gonna keep coming out. Personally attacking Bill Barr last week. He attacked him for his weight. And Barr's like, well, I'm still gonna vote for him. Sure, he may have just said that I'm a big fat guy that can't find a chair to sit in, which is what Trump implied, but. But I'm gonna vote for him. Cuz, man, do I hate Democrats? Imagine hating yourself so much that you would do that to yourself. Ted Cruz, that also applies to you, by the way, so many Republicans that applies to you. But this is who they are. And as I said, BARR continued talking about Donald, Donald Trump's legal defenses, and he said this, the legal theory by which he gets to take battle plans and sensitive national security information as his personal papers is absurd. It's just as wacky as the legal doctrine they came up with for, you know, having the vice president unilaterally determine who
Won the election. Okay? So you're admitting that, hey, the documents thing is a big deal. The attempts to overturn the election is a big deal. The guy could end up going to prison, but even if he's in prison still on the ballot, you are still gonna vote for him. So why should we listen to anything that you have to say?
