The Teufelstritt, also known as the "Black Kick," the "Devil's Kick," or the "Devil's Footstep," is a mysterious geological feature located in the city of Munich, Germany.

According to legend, in the year 1468, the ambitious architect Jorg von Halspach sought funds to erect a new cathedral in Munich. Legend has it that he struck a deal with the Devil: the infernal entity would provide the necessary funds, but the cathedral must be a celebration of darkness, devoid of windows to allow light.
