In this video, I'll answer the question - what is the difference between a snowstorm and a blizzard? Now, it’s important to note that blizzards don’t have to involve active snowfall. Rather, thick snow on the ground may be blown around by harsh winds, which will significantly reduce visibility. This phenomenon, however, is referred to as a ground blizzard.
On the other hand, snowstorms are largely considered to be much less severe than a blizzard, mainly because it doesn’t involve high winds and low visibility.
