You mentioned that your 14 month old little boy's knee and ankle turns inward, and it seems to be affecting his ability to walk, and he acts like it's painful to him. And you've taken him to the doctor, but they said just to watch it, but it does seem to be getting worse. I do recommend talking with a doctor again, and letting them know that his condition is worsening. And if you don't feel like you've gotten the attention that you need from that doctor, it's always okay to seek a second opinion. That's up to you, depending on how you feel about your relationship with the doctor and the response that you're getting.
Parents and pediatricians should have a good working relationship with each other. The parents spend a lot of time with the child. They know what's normal and what's not, and so if you see something that's abnormal, then that's when it's time to talk with a doctor, and then they can use their expertise and knowledge to decide if further investigation or treatments are warranted for the thing that you're seeing that's abnormal.
