Formerly owned by famed producer Daniel Lanois, the restored Hammond organ is tested with a cover of "A Whiter Shade of Pale" at The Church Studio by Patrick Burnham! He is the owner of Loco-Motion Pro, LLC, a Tulsa company that repairs and rebuilds Hammond organs and speakers. His clients include Stevie Wonder, Harry Connick, Jr., Cyndi Lauper, Michael W. Smith, Amy Grant, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Buddy Guy, and many more.
This vintage Hammond B3 Organ was restored to factory specifications, and is now available for artists to use during recording sessions at The Church Studio, along with its newly designed Cyclone BLDC motor in the 122 Leslie Speaker.
Daniel Lanois is a legendary producer with a robust list of credits, including Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Peter Gabriel, Robbie Robertson, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Spoons, Brandon Flowers, and many others. Among the albums he worked on, 3 records won a Grammy for Album of the Year, and 4 others were Grammy nominated. The Hammond B3 was picked up in Silver Lakes, Los Angeles, by Teresa Knox along with the studio's purchase of Daniel Lanois' Neve 8068 console.
