Alexander opened up about why he actually left the group.
The former U-KISS member appeared as a guest on a recent episode of Youtube show 'JAYKEEOUT x VWVB.'
During the interview, Alexander took his time to talk about his time in Korea and promoting with U-KISS.
Alexander debut as a member of U-KISS in 2008 and released four mini-albums and one full album with the team.
He left the group in 2011, saying that he wanted to focus on his study.
However, almost a decade after his departure from the group, Alexander has finally now talked about the bitter truth behind it.
Alexander revealed that he was kicked out from the team because he was not popular.
He said, "Back then, I was really upset about it. The company was telling me that U-KISS needed member changes, saying that the group wasn't doing well enough."
Alexander continued, "I was like 'What?' We were doing a lot of overseas events and I was helping with that.
I taught them how to use Twitter and with promoting our stuff," and added, "Basically, they were cutting me off from the group."
He continued, "They said, 'Think about it Alexander, do you think you are popular in Korea? You are not popular.' That's what he said."
The former member went on, "It's a very sad reality. My aunt was really straightforward and talked to the CEO.
Normally, it's really hard for an artist to leave or terminate their contract. I left the company and they released a statement saying I wanted to go back to school."
