Ahigh school kicker in Texas made history this week when she became the first female football player to score in a Texas high school state championship game. K-Lani Nava, a senior at Strawn High School, converted nine of 10 extra point attempts in her team’s 78-42 win to claim the Class 1A Six-Man Division II state championship.
