The new 4 series convertible is here with the large kidneys, in Arctic Race Blue paint and a contrasting Tan interior. The new roof is 40% lighter than the complex metal hardtop and it also improved trunk space and interior leg room. The soft top takes 18sec to open/close and can do its dance up to 31MPH. Honestly, I think the convertible looks more BMW than the coupe, specifically around the rear end. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

🏁 @Alllcarnews Spec Sheet: The base 430i and 430i xDrive both get a 2.0L Turbo 4 ming 255HP and 294 lb-ft of torque allowing for 0-60 in just 5.3sec and a 155MPH TopSpeed. The engine is peppy and more than enough though the sound and outright speed is nothing compared to the M440i xDrive with a 3.0L Turbo Straight 6 paired to a 48v mild hybrid system making 382HP and 369 lb-ft of torque and capable of 0-60 in around 4.3sec. 🏁

Inside is tasteful, especially with this dark open pore wood. Nothing is really “new” here with the new iDrive 7.0 and Live Cockpit. Surprisingly you can fit people in the rear seats though I wouldn’t do that for a road trip. The best part is the roof which is super solid and quiet when up thanks to some thick padding, and the car is a great convertible when it is down.

Pricing for the 430i Convertible in in the US starts at $53k and $55k for x-drive while the M440i xDrive starts at $64k for RWD and $66k for x-Drive. This 430i comes in at $61k and is fine, but for a bit more the M440i 100% offers more for your money and is the go-to one to get.
