Why is Rep. Virginia Foxx attacking students who are standing up for Palestine?

As head of the Education and Workforce Committee, Foxx has been leading the charge to crack down on student encampments.

In the middle of the night last night, hundreds of D.C. police officers descended on the campus, destroying the encampment, pepper spraying students, and arresting dozens.

Foxx's committee was supposed to have a hearing with the Mayor of D.C. today about why she hadn't cleared the encampment, but the hearing was canceled after last night's raid.

The D.C. encampment and student demonstrations across the country are overwhelmingly peaceful. The only reason Foxx and friends are targeting these students is because they dare to challenge U.S. support for Israel's genocide in Palestine.

Foxx has taken over $127,000 in campaign contributions from pro-Israel groups.
