I feel like an idiot for not finding this technique sooner ! Use these tips with your Dremel to weld your parts together. It's a bit of a technique but do-able and I was surprised how easy it is to get the tips heated up and started.
The welds held super strong and with the right speed and angle it hands down beats hot glueing 3d prints.
From some of the comments I've been getting, I definitely missed this somehow ! ! I found a couple of articles from 2014 where people have used straight up bit of filament in their Dremel to friction weld. I'm going to be trying that and I think you'd get a finer point and better finish. Maybe not as thick and strong though?
Comment if you've tried it and how well it worked and also if you've used a 3d print pen to join parts and how well that's worked.
