It was about 6:30 AM date 30/06/2024(Sunday). I received a call from my brother in-law who along with his son and grandson and granddaughter who came to see the river flooding, that a lovely, cute baby elephant (calf) is stuck under the Zabrang Bridge. So I hurried from my bed without delaying and without brushing my teeth taking my two sons Sunny(12 years) & and Jougasar (6 years).

I was lucky to help the forest officials to lift the baby elephant and put in to the vehicle to be transported to the safe forest office.
