Shocking bodycam footage was played in front of the jury on the first day of Alec Baldwin's manslaughter trial. Police officer Nicholas Lefleur was the first witness to take the stand, where he described what he experienced the day "Rust" cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was shot by Alec Baldwin. The bodycam video showed the chaos that broke out after both the director and cinematographer were shot, with the medics attempting to keep both victims alive.

Famed actor and movie producer Alec Baldwin was indicted on one count of involuntary manslaughter in January for the death of 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Hutchins died on Baldwin’s “Rust” movie set. Armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for Hutchins’ death. She was sentenced to 18 months in prison.
