In this video, author and mental health educator Douglas Bloch provides an overview of the four classes of mediations that are used to help those of us who either have trouble falling asleep or have trouble staying asleep. The four classes are 1) benzodiazepines, 2) antidepressants, 3) sedatives or hypnotics and 4) over-the-counter medications. Examples of these medications are given in the video.
