The Saar Offensive: A Lost Opportunity
In September of 1939 it is generally believed that the Western Allies did nothing until Germany attacked months later in 1940. However the Allies did attack in 1939, but did not take advantage of the great opportunity that had Napoleon turn over in his grave.
