The First Kenpachi Yachiru Retsu Unohana! - BLEACH Explained
The first Kenpachi of the Gotei 13 (13 Court Guard Squads) Squad 11 Retsu "Yachiru" Unohana! In the last arc of BLEACH, the TYBW (Thousand Year Blood War) arc, we find out that Retsu Unohana was the first soul reaper to hold the Kenpachi title! Later on, current Kenpachi Zaraki fights Unohana to gain a power boost and too finally officially claim the title of Kenpachi.
