Radish kimchi recipe...I would like to share my favorite Radish kimchi recipe easy to make and delicious....
Ingredients
korean Radish (2 big size) about 2kg cut into cubed size pieces
coarse salt 2-3 tbps
Green onions or scallions (2 stalks) chopped
Porridge :
1 ½ tbps sweet rice flour
1½ cup water
1tbs sugar (optional)
For the kimchi paste
Small Ginger
10 cloves garlic
½ cup fish sauce
1tbps shrimp paste (optional)
2 tbps palm syrup or sugar
water ¼ cup
salt ( optional )
Instructions:
Peel the skin of Radish
Cut into cubed size pieces
Place the cubed Radish in a large bowl and sprinkle with coarse salt mix well..
wait for 30 up to 1 hr...
Cook the sweet rice Porridge (set aside to cool down..)
Prepare the Seasonings ingredients for the kimchi paste mixture and blend until smooth ..(written ) in the description
Chop the green onions
After 1hr..Drained the Radish using a colander.
Place the Radish back in the big bowl or basin
add 1tbps of Chilli pepper flakes into the Radish and mix well...
Mix the kimchi paste and Sweet rice Porridge and add 1 cup of Hot Chilli pepper flakes..mix it well to combine..
add kimchi paste and green onions over the radish and mix well to colored the Radish with the kimchi paste.. mix well to combined..
Add palm syrup or sugar (optional)
Put Radish kimchi in an air tight clean container..leave it at room temperature for about 5hrs ..lastly, store in a refrigerator....and Enjoy!!!!
